There is a special duaa for fasting which should be made before the fast begins each day:
Recital of Islamic faith (reading of the Holy Qur’an)
The fast during Ramadan which all able Muslims are expected to observe
The annual pilgrimage to Mecca that all able Muslims must make at least once in their lifetime
Obligatory prayer performed five times a day, as ordered by Allah (SWT), to be performed before sunrise, at midday, late afternoon, after sunset and between sunset and midnight
A charitable donation based on expendable income; the payment of zakat is popular during the holy month of Ramadan as payments made during this time hold greater reward for the donor
Ramadan is a beautiful time for reflection, worship and doing good deeds, and perhaps the additional quietness and solitude will help form the perfect space to facilitate this. In Ramadan 2026, we should focus on remembrance of Allah (SWT) (dhikr), performing salah, making prayers and doing good deeds.
One of the most important things we can do, is give in charity. Around the world, millions are living in poverty and facing hunger, thirst, war and illness on unprecedented levels. At Al Mustafa Welfare Trust, this Ramadan we are asking you one big question:Are you willing to support your needy Muslim brothers and sisters? If yes, then we are here to deliver your charity directly to needy Muslims.
As Ramadan is based on the lunar calendar and the sighting of the moon, the exact dates for the Ramadan calendar for 2026 will not be confirmed until the evening before the beginning of the new month, depending on the sighting of the moon.
Due to the phases of the moon in the lunar calendar, each lunar year is roughly ten days shorter than the usual calendar we look at. This means Ramadan moves approximately ten days earlier each year, and the month does not have fixed dates. This is why over time, Ramadan falls across different seasons, and the length of the daily fasts change depending on the number of daylight hours.
Your Zakat donation will go directly to those who need it most 100% of the time – giving you 100% of the reward.

Ramadan 2026 is expected to begin on the evening of Tuesday, February 17th 2026, and end on the evening of Wednesday 18th March 2026, depending on the sighting of the moon.
The fasting duration in Ramadan 2026 will vary daily, starting at approximately 11 hours and increasing to around 13 hours by the end of the month.
Prayer times and Suhoor (pre-dawn meal) and Iftar (breaking fast) vary depending on location. A local Ramadan timetable helps Muslims to follow accurate timings.
Laylat al-Qadr, the "Night of Power," is expected to fall during the last 10 days of Ramadan, with a high likelihood on March 16th, 2026. It is a night of immense spiritual significance.
A Ramadan timetable provides accurate Suhoor and Iftar times, helping Muslims maintain their fasts properly. It also highlights key dates, such as Laylat al-Qadr, to maximise the Ramadan worship.
