Al Mustafa Eye Hospital Organized Free Eye Camp for Children
Al Mustafa Eye Hospital successfully conducted a free eye camp on 12th July 2025, reaffirming its mission to provide quality eye care and support to underprivileged communities. The camp was held as part of Al Mustafa Welfare Trust's ongoing efforts to make eye health accessible for all, especially those who cannot afford private treatment.
The target audience of the camp was young students and the children in local communities. Kids from underserved neighborhoods, some of them probably stepping into a hospital for the first time, got their eyes examined by professionals who treated them like their own.
Over 200 children got free eye check-ups and several individuals were provided with a pair of glasses (prescription and non-prescription), necessary eye drops and muscle strengthening syrups to support their visual and overall physical health. This initiative will help children avoid vision complications in their future lives and ensure that children can pursue their education without the barrier of poor eyesight.
A senior analyst and columnist, Mr Irshad Arif was also there as a special guest and gave away prizes to the children. He encouraged students as well as staff with his presence, contributing to the positive camp atmosphere. Parents, teachers and community members were grateful for the initiative of providing free eye care services that show Al Mustafa Trust's commitment to compassion and community service.
Al Mustafa Eye Hospital isn't just running eye camps. They're showing up in the gaps and in the places where healthcare doesn't always reach and they're doing it with heart.
Each donation makes us a step closer to the prevention of blindness and the change of life through the gift of sight.
