Ukraine Emergency Appeal

The war in Ukraine is having a devastating impact on its population of 12 million, who have already faced 8 years of conflict, resulting in increased poverty and suffering.

More than 12 million people are believed to have fled their homes in Ukraine since the conflict began, according to the United Nations. Just over six million people, including two million children, have left for neighbouring countries and another 6.5 million people are thought to be displaced inside the war-torn country itself.

In neighbouring countries, Ukrainian families, many of whom are Muslim, are seeking refuge in refugee camps, living without adequate shelter, clothing, or food. Al Mustafa Welfare Trust is providing emergency support to Ukrainian refugee families, providing nutritious food, medical aid, hygiene kits and clothing.

We know Ukrainian families are in their time of need, and we are on the ground helping families rebuild their homes after witnessing and experiencing such devastation, suffering a and loss.
