On the 7th October 2023, a powerful earthquake with a magnitude of 6.3 rocked the Herat province in Afghanistan, leaving behind a trail of destruction and despair. The earthquake is estimated to have claimed thousands of lives and left countless others injured and homeless. The level of devastation is staggering, with entire villages reduced to rubble, vital infrastructure severely damaged, and communities left in shock and despair.
The survivors are now left to grapple with the harsh realities of life without shelter, food, clean water, or medical assistance.
At Al Mustafa Welfare Trust we hope to alleviate the suffering of those in need with our Afghanistan Earthquake Appeal.
