Qurbani in Middle-East

Give your Qurbani in the Middle East, where war, famine and poverty has left millions struggling to survive.

Decades of conflict in Palestine has created the highest levels of unemployment, with millions living in refugee camps or in the rubble and remain of their destroyed homes.

Over 11 years of war in Syria has left over 11 million people devastated, and created one of the world’s largest refugee crisis. 11 million people are struggling to survive without food, water, housing or access to medical care.

In Yemen, a devastating famine is claiming lives every single day, and hundreds of thousands of babies and children are malnourished.6 years of war combined with health epidemics and Covid-19 has reduced the country to almost nothing, leaving millions fearful for the future and barely able to survive.

Your Qurbani can help tackle hunger and spread the joy of Eid to those most in need.

For many communities, your Qurbani will be the only meat they will eat all year. Don’t leave anyone behind this Eid.

Automate your donations

Split your donations across the blessed first 10 days of Dhul Hijjah and maximise the reward of these holy days.

Prophet Muhammad (saw) said: “There are no days on which righteous deeds are more beloved to Allah than these ten days” (Bukhari), meaning the (first) ten days of Dhul-Hijjah.

Schedule your donations daily and don't miss giving to those in need on these special days.

*Please note that once your donations are scheduled, their scheduled dates can not be changed

Why Middle East Needs Your Qurbani this Year?

Middle East is one of the most vulnerable regions in the world where decades of war, poverty and economic instability have left families on the verge of survival.

From war-ravaged Syrian and Yemeni communities to struggling refugees in Lebanon and Palestine, families are fighting for survival, with little or no access to basic needs. These families do not ask for much, just a little relief or kindness.

Your Qurbani can help desperate parents feed their children. It can also support older people who have seen their communities disappear. Your sacrifice can become a lifeline and a ray of hope in their hopelessness. It can bring fresh meat to the table that they have not seen in months, joy to hearts that they need, and a feeling of being seen and supported.

This Eid, your giving can restore dignity and light up someone’s darkest days!

The Impact of Your Qurbani in the Middle East

This Eid, your Qurbani can reach places where grief and hunger have become a part of daily life.

Your Qurbani will reach families who have not had a proper meal in weeks and sometimes months. It will bring fresh meat to homes where parents have been surviving on tea and dry bread, just so their children can eat. It will give a hot, nourishing meal to children who have never tasted meat before, and strength to the elderly who have been silently enduring hunger.

In 2024, your contributions helped us provide meat to over 3.5 million people across different continents, including the Middle East.

You are not merely feeding the hungry; you are uplifting hearts and restoring dignity to families in need.

Prophetic Qurbani

This year, let's revive a sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) by sacrificing two shares for Qurbani 2025

To commemorate the sacrifice of Prophet Ibrahim (as), our Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) would offer two Qurbanis – one for himself, and one on behalf of someone from his ummah who could not afford to do it themselves.

At Al Mustafa Welfare Trust, we invite you to join us and revive this beautiful sunnah of prophetic Qurbani, making double the impact to those in need, and reaping double the rewards.

The additional Qurbani will mean that more impoverished communities will be able to enjoy Eid, and also that more people will reap the benefits of Qurbani because of you, and in turn giving you an even greater reward.

Qurbani FAQs

The animals which are eligible for Qurbani are:

Sheep and goats which are at least one year in age (for one person’s Qurbani). Cows, buffalo or camels which are at least two years in age (for seven people’s Qurbani)

We provide fresh Qurbani meat in all countries as the animals are purchased and slaughtered locally.

AMWT eligibility criteria require beneficiaries of the Qurbani project to be selected based on need. When selecting beneficiaries for the distribution, priority is given to the following:

  • Families/individual living below the poverty line
  • Single-parent household
  • Households with disabled and/or elderly persons
  • Household with little or no access to the food markets
  • Household with children
  • Household with pregnant and/or nursing women
  • A thorough assessment is carried out by our teams to objectively identify and prioritise those in need and to ensure we reach the most vulnerable without bias.

The quantity of meat is distributed to families based on the size of the family. Generally, a family of 1- 4 people will receive 4kg of meat, a family of 5-9 will get 6kg of meat and a family of more than 10 will receive 8kg.

No, this is not necessary as long as you have made the intention that you are giving this Qurbani on behalf of a certain person.

Yes. You can give Qurbani online. You can participate in Qurbani Online 2024 by booking your Qurbani through Al Mustafa Welfare's website. We will deliver fresh and nutritious Qurbani meat to the most needed families.

You can make payments right up until the middle of the third day after Eid (13th of Dhul-Hijjah) before Zohar salah. AMWT has already purchased the animals to be slaughtered.

Our Qurbani sacrifices are performed every year between the morning of Eid, the 10th Dhul Hijjah, and the sunset of the 13th day of Dhul-Hijjah in the UK.

Unfortunately, due to the nature of Qurbani and the time restrictions related to it we are not able to provide each donor with individual feedback on their specific Qurbani.

We will however send you a receipt to confirm your Qurbani and a notification when all our Qurbanis have been completed.

If you have provided us with a name, our team will call the name out after the Dua at the time of the sacrifice. However, it is not necessary to give us a name as long as you have made the intention that you are giving this Qurbani on behalf of a certain person.

Unfortunately, we are not able to change the donation schedule for our ‘My ten days of Dhul Hijjah’ module, once it is set up by our donor.

Qurbani 2025 prices vary by region and share, starting from £30. See the table above for full details.
