10-year-old Ismail Raza faced extreme hardships after the death of his father at the age of six. His brother, two elder sisters and widowed mother lived miserable lives. The whole family had no option but to rely on external help to continue their survival. The family's dreams were shattered. Ismail Raza was a brilliant student but had to leave the school.
He was at the age of seven when Al Mustafa Welfare Trust's hafiz sponsorship changed his life. Our sponsorship program helped Ismail continue his education by journeying to memorize the Quran. His sponsorship covered all his essential needs, including shelter, food, clothing and medical care, so he could easily excel. As of today, Ismail is a motivated young boy who confidently expresses the ambition of completing his Hifz and pursuing further Islamic studies to become an Alim, or Islamic scholar.
