By the grace of Allah (SWT), we have all reached the blessed month of Ramadan 2026. The time demands that we thank Allah for this grace and spend this month in its true spirit. Ramadan is not about fasting dust from dawn, it teaches us how to be patient, kind, and understand what prayer is all about.
A dua (supplication) is one of the most important ways to get the most out of Ramadan and with dua we can establish a deep connection with Allah (SWT). One of the Hadith of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) stated that Allah (SWT) hears all sincere prayers, especially during Ramadan when the gates of mercy are wide open.
Here are some supplications you can recite daily in this holy month to ask for forgiveness, help, and blessings from Allah (SWT).
Daily Duas for Ramadan:
Dua for fasting at Suhoor times:
وَبِصَوْمِ غَدٍ نَوَيْتُ مِنْ شَهْرِ رَمَضَانَ
(Sunan Abu Dawood 2454)
"I intend to fast tomorrow during Ramadan"
Recite this dua when starting your fast, this dua confirms our intention to fast, making sure that our act of prayer is sincere and devoted, and just for the sake of Allah's blessings and mercy.
Dua for Breaking the Fast (Iftar Time):
اللَّهُمَّ اِنِّى لَكَ صُمْتُ وَبِكَ امنْتُ وَعَليْكَ تَوَكّلتُ وَ عَلى رِزْقِكَ اَفْطَرْتُ
(Sunan Abu Dawood 2358)
O Allah (SWT)!I fasted for You, I believe in You, I put my trust in You, and with Your sustenance, I break my fast. Muslims Recite this dua at the time of iftar and remember that breaking the fast is more than just eating, It's also a time to thank Allah (SWT) for his mercy and support.
