Cairo, Egypt – July 24, 2024 – Al Mustafa Welfare Trust, a leading humanitarian charity, proudly announces the successful delivery of medical supplies, including medical equipment, surgical tools, machines, and medicines to the field hospital in Khan Younis, Gaza., with the support of our partners the Egyptian Red Crescent.
This vital contribution is part of our ongoing Palestine & Gaza Emergency appeal to support healthcare facilities in the region. Al Mustafa Welfare Trust has been working tirelessly to deliver essential aid to the people of Gaza.
We have delivered life-changing surgical equipment to five field hospitals, two in Gaza and three in the West Bank. Additionally, we delivered medical supplies such as portable otoscopes, intravenous kits, wound-cleaning solutions, and medicines to hospitals serving the peoples of Gaza and Palestine.
The delivery, which took place on July 22, 2024, is a vital step in Al Mustafa Welfare Trust's ongoing efforts to give essential healthcare services to the people of Gaza, who have suffered years of conflict and blockade.
With recent conflicts & attacks resulting in the loss of over 40,000 deaths and many injured, the continuous conflict in Gaza has destroyed the healthcare system.
The population of 2 million lacks the required healthcare services since the infrastructure of the hospitals has been seriously disrupted. The pressing need for medical treatment inspired our mission to assist the field hospital in Khan Younis. The field hospital, supported by the partnership of Al Mustafa Welfare Trust and Egyptian Red Crescent, is a beacon of hope for many who have suffered due to the lack of medical resources.
